Bordonnechia, Italy 2006

I thought it time to get back to my main interest of shadows throughout Europe. I am more interested in this in black and white although there is some merit in the colour images. This one was taken recently while on a motorbike trip to Italy.

It was made in the small alpine town of Bardonnechia.

I kind of like the idea of a series of images called

"In the Shadow of Europe"

Henrhyd Waterfall, South Wales

This Henrhyd Waterfall in South Wales. I discovered this hidden gem one while riding my motorbike. There is a steep walk along a rough track with a bridge to get to it but your visit should be rewarded with a superb and almost mystical display. I found this place to be quite magical and can recommend it to anyone wanting a bit of solitude.

Italy 2005

I thought I would add just a few images from my recent trip to Italy. I drove down to Montalcino, sampled some Brunello Wine (superb), had a look at Siena, Pisa, Lucca as well as a brief trip to Portofino and I even got to see my family in and around Bardi. The highlight was riding my scooter through the Chianti Hills on the backroads and passes.
